Text to Speech X App Reviews

Just purchased the product and it will not operate on my mac book. I dont know hpw to get to support or even customer service to complain. No I am not illeritate , just not mac savvy.

I purchased this app and it worked okay for a little while but now it won’t even open any more, I even tried uninstalling re-installing. Needs fixing.

I use this to hear Russian text and it works wonderfully.

I just purchased this app, but it will not even open without crashing. Very disappointing!

This reader is great. I am Dyslexic and I i have used alot of readers and this by far is the bust I have used thus far. I use this for all of my text books for class, and I would not be doing as well as I am in my classes with out this. Although I like the “Alex” voice I do wish there was a more clear female voice.

This softwar just read the text you can’t start where ever you want only from the start and the software don’t mark the word it is reading very disappointment

This is the worst app that I have ever seen or purchased. It has no help section. No instructions anywhere. I was unable to load any text either through the “load text” button or the “open" button. In fact, I was not able to get it to speak anything because I could not find a way of getting any text into the app to read. This is basically seems to be a sham. It seems to use the apple text to speech reader evidently, but doesn’t seem to know how to do that. I tried to copy text and paste it into the app, but that didn’t work either. Don’t know how to make it work, and there are no instruction to do this that I am aware of anywhere. I thought taht since it was just 2.99, how much was at risk. If you want to waste your money on an app that has no value, please feel free to reward this sham artist for his sad product. I am sure that other reviewers must be lucky or they are bogus reviews. I wish that someone at Apple would run a simple test to see if an app worked at least in basic terms before they listed it in the app store.

This app is a very good text to speech app. The ability to control the tempo is a great option. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is due to the fact that you can’t really pause the reading. It wil start over from the beginning if you stop it. Other than that, it works perfectly. Definitely worth the money.

My review is prompted off the fact that every time time I launch the app, it asks for a review. Every time, I say No and don’t ask again. But every time, it still asks. And it’s infuriating. It’s a liar. The app itself is fine. It does the job. It’s not great, but it works. If I gave the functionality alone a star review it would be 3.5 to 4 stars. I’m not blown away, but it works. But the prompt when I open the app is genuinely frustrating and for that, this app gets 1 star.
